RECAP:
This month has been all about balance. I’m far from mastering it yet I’ve learned, how truly hard it can be wearing all these different hats, knowing when to put one down and put on another. My first work trip away this year was spending a few days in NYC. Lucky came back from Europe just in time, for him to tag along and for us to get some quality time together. I got the opportunity to be a part of something really exciting and starting the New Year like that, gave me some perspective on how far I’ve actually come. Apart from working we had A LOT of food. Some of which was amazing and others not so much. There’s just something about New York Pizza that just hit the spot on this trip.
Once I came home it dawned on me that I entered my third and final trimester of pregnancy. It’s felt like a long but also too short of a journey. With my third baby I’ve not had the urge to nest yet and hopefully that won’t happen in the last couple weeks!
I’ve also spend a lot of time baking! Never thought I’d say that as someone that has never been able to successfully bake anything. I’ve been venturing into making bread and it can be a lot easier than people make it out to be.
THINGS I’VE BEEN LOVING:
This week let’s talk all about Loungewear and Pajamas. Soft, comfortable clothes have become more and more important to me. I’ve build up quite a collection that I’m proud of and can’t wait to expand. The most important thing for me is the fabric. I love anything stretchy, soft and easy to move around in. Also the fit!! Sometimes I want snug pieces that hug my body but don’t leave me feeling squeezed of uncomfortable. For Pajama’s some of them are that soft stretchy fabric I was talking about but for some occasions I like a sophisticated cotton set.
I’ve linked some of my favorites below but also mentioned some brands that I keep repurchasing from.
